Service offerings

My services offer gentle yoga that is accessible for beginners and diverse abilities. The practice involves slow, intentional physical movement and postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), and periods of rest or meditation (dhyana). No prior yoga experience is necessary and all movements can be modified to suit different abilities and health conditions.

    Classes aim to:

    • Increase interoceptive awareness (the ability to sense internal body states), supporting trauma-sensitive regulation by helping people safely reconnect with bodily sensations

    • Encourage mindfulness, reducing habitual reactivity and supporting intentional choice

    • Reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD

    • Improve sleep quality

    • Introduce skills to balance the autonomic nervous system

These sessions aim to enable participants to feel more grounded, rested, and better equipped to cope with daily challenges.

When yoga is made accessible..

Practices are adaptable, with variations offered to support individual needs, preferences, and capacities. Participants are encouraged to engage in ways that feel comfortable for their own bodies, cultivating body awareness with a focus on internal experience rather than the external appearance.

Accessible yoga honours each person’s unique capacity and supports the development of self-trust and self-understanding throughout the practice.

Mindfulness practices within yoga help to cultivate a sense of inner strength and calm that individuals can carry into their families, workplaces, and communities.
